I use and love the Tidewater BTW56-SURR Rod. After searching all over the internet for the right rods and not having any luck I went where I should have gone to start with- Bass Pro Shops.I was looking for a heavy duty roller tip rod. Once at Bass Pro I started looking at the higher end rods at $250.00 plus, these are great rods but kind of pricey for what I wanted. I looked at some in the $150 to $200 range then I asked the Bass Pro Shop associate if there were any others I should look at. He took down the Tidewater and handed it to me, it felt good, looked good and I couldn't believe how affordable it was, lets just say I bought 6. If you are looking for a great rod that will get the job done and still leave you money to buy a reel this is the rod you are looking for. Don't just take my word for it ,buy one and try it out, you'll love it too.
I love Bass Pro!!! Best Selection anywhere, and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
